Dubbed Walter Winchell (famed newspaper gossip columnist) at age 6 by my great-grandfather, Colonel Joseph Harvey Long for my solid gossip reporting skills Attended Marshall University's Elementary Lab School before being transplanted to Wheeling, in the 60s where I attended Linsly Military Institute (paroled 9th grade), Triadelphia High School and West Liberty State College. I have worked for Ogden Newspapers, Inc. for 36 years excluding time spent delivering my Intelligencer paper route.
