STEUBENVILLE - Jackie Kendziorski and Michael Grzeskowiak were united in marriage May 2 at Holy Name Cathedral.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her father, Kevin Kendziorski, of Hopedale. The mother of the bride is Glenda Birkhimer of Steubenville.

The groom is the son of Randall and Rosemary Grzeskowiak of North Olmsted.

The bride wore a white satin gown featuring a cathedral-length train. She carried a bouquet of pink and white roses.

Jessica Kendziorski of Steubenville, twin sister of the bride, served as the maid of honor, and Stacy Marino of Potomac Falls, Va., sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristen Grzeskowiak of Lakewood, sister of the groom; and Shannon Wills of Blacklick, Ashley Secosky of Steubenville, Michelle Skipper of Los Angeles and Kala Morrison of Lore City.

Flower girls were Irelynd Dempsey of Port St. Lucie, Fla., niece of the bride, and Katie and Emma Birkhimer of Memphis, Tenn., cousins of the bride.

Jeffery Grzeskowiak of North Royalton, brother of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Roman Pocztar, Dan Szeremet and James Majernik of Parma; Mark Gibbons of Lakewood; John Brady of New Jersey, cousin of the groom; and Michael Kendziorski of Port St. Lucie, brother of the bride.

The junior groomsman was Austin Kendziorski of Columbus, brother of the bride, and ring bearers were Josh Szeremet of Parma and Wyatt Dempsey of Port St. Lucie, nephew of the bride.

Ushers were Nicholas Szeremet of Strongsville and Patrick Camp of Berea.

After a reception at the Rose, the newlyweds honeymooned in Punta Cana.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Catholic Central High School and received a bachelor's degree in physical education and master's degree in exercise science from the University of Akron. She is employed as a wellness director at Fitwell Office in Cleveland.

The groom is a 2000 graduate of Parma Holy Name High School and received a bachelor's degree from the University of Akron in sociology. He is seeking a degree in nursing and is employed at the Cleveland Clinic as a nurse's aide. The couple own a window and siding business in Parma, where they reside.
