To the editor:

On Oct. 22 my purse was taken at Wal-Mart. Tom and I want to acknowledge and thank the groups and individuals who assisted in any way.

Wal-Mart customer service and security; Patrolman Lance Bickerstaff; the couple who prayed for us, Colleen and her sister, Cheryl, and the other people whose names I did not get - the security at the mall who found my purse on a bench there and took it to customer service; the lady there who then called my granddaughter who then called us to let us know it was found; the employees of Huntington Bank in Mingo Junction; and Page Carney.

If I have forgotten anyone, forgive me.
