To the editor:

The Prime Time Office on Aging has a renewal levy on the Nov. 3 ballot. This is the senior services levy. Passage is necessary to maintain the current level of services, which includes congregate meals, home-delivered meals, transportation, legal assistance, in-home services, medical screenings through the mobile medical unit, monthly Parkinson's support group and the Ohio Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program.

A "yes" vote will help maintain the services that Jefferson County seniors need and deserve. The levy is a renewal, which means no new taxes.
