ADDITION: Howard Hanna Mortimer Realty in Weirton said Susan King of Weirton has joined its team.
She received her real estate license by completing required courses at Jefferson Community College and passed the West Virginia state exam. She previously was a licensed Realtor in Ohio. She is a member of the Weirton Area Board of Realtors, the West Virginia Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
She and her husband Bruce reside in Weirton and are the parents of Scott, a 1993 Weir High graduate. She is the daughter of Beryl and the late Ed Darby of Weirton.

BUSINESS TALK: Entrepreneur Frank J. Hanna III will discuss "God in the Marketplace" in the latest installment of the Franciscan University of Steubenville's Distinguished Speakers Series. His talk will be given at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 3 in the Tony and Nina Gentile Gallery in the J. C. Williams Center on campus.
Hanna's talk will focus on such issues as the vocation of the entrepreneur, how a Catholic can respond to the demands of the marketplace and how to combine being faithful and being successful in the business world.
A merchant banker in Atlanta, Hanna is the chief executive officer of Hanna Capital, an investment firm.
Hanna has helped to start three new Catholic schools in Atlanta, leads various efforts for school reform and has chaired the President's Advisory Commission on Educational Excellence for Hispanic Americans. He has been a frequent public speaker on issues of faith and business.
He has spoken to Catholic leaders at conferences at the Vatican and in meetings of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
Hanna was named a Knight of the Grand Cross in the Order of St. Gregory by Pope Benedict XVI.
The lecture is open to the public and free of charge.
A light reception will follow his remarks.
The lecture is the latest presentation in the Distinguished Speaker Series, which features leaders who have distinguished themselves in service to church and society.
CERTIFIED: Donald R. Abraham, course superintendent at the Steubenville Country Club, has completed the renewal process for maintaining his certification with the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America.
Abraham has been at the Steubenville Country Club since 1992 and has been a 19-year member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America.
He initially achieved certification status in 1994. About 1,800 golf course superintendents worldwide earn the certified status.
According to Mark Woodward, chief executive officer of the association, the certification program requires a course superintendent demonstrate a higher set of competencies in golf course management through testing and practical application.
AEP DIVIDEND: The American Electric Power Co. board of directors declared a 41-cent quarterly dividend, payable Dec. 10 to shareholders of record as of Nov. 10.
It is the company's 398th consecutive quarterly common stock cash dividend, dating back to July 1910.
