WELLSBURG - The Brooke volleyball team defeated visiting Morgantown 25-17, 25-21, 25-22 Monday night in the pigtail game of the Class AAA West Virginia Region 1, Section 1 tournament.

For the Bruins, who will visit University Wednesday, Katlyn Chuchiak five kills, two blocks, six points and three aces, Lauren Utt 11 assists, four points and two aces, Krista Elliott seven assists, seven points, Katie O'Connell five kills, three assists, Morgan Hone four points and two aces, Ali Crawford four kills, Kelsey Bable five blocks, two kills, two aces and eight points and Clarissa Kowalczyk five kills, two blocks and five points.
