Dog attack: Woman went to Trinity Medical Center West for treatment of injuries she said was caused by an attack by a stray pit bill dog in the area of Lawson and Oakmont avenues, Monday.

Cited: Jeanie E. Edwards, 55, 1317 Oak Grove Ave., dog at large; Brandon Mayo, 36, no address listed, no animal registration and dog at large; Joel Clark, no age or address listed by police, defective vehicle; and Robby Mallas, 51, 624 Pine St., stop sign.

Arrested: Robert Ely III, 26, 1120 Pennsylvania Ave., operating a vehicle under the influence and domestic violence, Monday.

Assault: Man said he was hit in the face around 8:10 p.m. Monday with an unknown object wielded by a person known to him at residence in the 1300 block of Ridge Avenue. The victim was taken to Trinity Medical Center West for treatment.
