Spring Hills Ladies Golf League closed its season with a banquet held at J.C. Wine Cellar.

Judy Hare, chairman, welcomed golfers and thanked everyone for a great 2009 season. Mary Alice Myer offered a prayer before the dinner.

Hare reviewed the season events and thanked everyone who helped, including Claudia Norris for her video and photographs, Dan Stacy for handicaps and stats and Charlie Corder for his generosity and help at the course.

Awards were distributed by Lori Szymanek. Each winner will have her name placed on a plaque that will be on display at Spring Hills Golf Course.

Winners were:

A flight, low gross, Marge Alpino, and low net, Ruth Lamantia; B flight, low gross, Hare, and low net, Linda Caputo.

The most improved golfer was Erin Mader who was presented gifts for the Spring hills pro shop.

Alpino presented ringers and birdie awards. Ringer winners were A flight, Claudia Norris; B flight, Hare; and C flight, Linda Caputo. Alpino had the most birdies for the season.

A video on the 2008 banquet and 2009 season was prepared by Norris and presented after the dinner.

Ann Eroshovich, Suzie Gibson, Tammy Cox and Susan Rahl were on the banquet committee.

Officers for next season will be Hare, chairman; Szymanek, vice chairman; Eleanor Kindsvatter, secretary; and Norris, treasurer.
