BATTON, Margaret E. (nee Wayt), 96, of Bedford, passed away.

She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene; loving mother of Joan (late Art) Koth, Marlene (Norman) Hart, Judy (late Harry) Pantell and Mary (late Daniel) Hilow; dearest grandmother of Arthur Koth, Meg Cacciacarro, Thomas Koth, Marci Roque, Dewy Hart, Jennifer Hart, Harry Pantell Jr. and Jeannette Hart (deceased); dear great-grandgrandmother of six; great-great-grandmother of three; sister of Carl Wayt and the following deceased: William, Raymond, Lawrence, Pauline Howells, Daisy Vincent, Dare and Dorothy Brothers.

Friends will be received at the St. John Funeral Home, 923 Broadway, Bedford, (one mile west of Forbes-Broadway exit of I-271), Thursday, November 5, 2009, from noon to 2 p.m., where a closing service will be held at 2 p.m, followed by burial in Bedford Cemetery.
