Pittsburgh incident leaves woman angry

To the editor:

First of all, I would like to start by saying that I do not agree with the death penalty, usually.

After hearing the story about Jennifer Daugherty, the young girl who was humiliated and murdered outside of Pittsburgh, I feel sick.

It was absolutely disgusting and inhumane what those six repulsive people did to her. They not only killed her, they humiliated her - making her drink urine, Clorox and soap; painting her face with finger nail polish; wrapping her up in Christmas lights, and stabbing her to death, among who knows what else.

It is ailing; how can these people even be considered people? Something more needs to be done, and I am anxiously waiting to hear the results of their trial. Personally, I feel life without parole wouldn't be enough. They knew what they were doing, and yet continued doing it, while not one of them said stop. If their judgment day leans in their favor, they will receive the ultimate punishment in the end, anyway. It's sad that the innocent, good people of the world suffer from horrifying people such as these six. Her family and she are in my prayers and thoughts.
