STEUBENVILLE - Rene and Steve Ridge of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney, to Brian Kissinger, son of Maureen and Don Kissinger of Steubenville.
The bride-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Xavier High School. She earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from UNI, and a juris doctorate from Notre Dame, and her MAT from American University. Courtney is educating fifth-graders at St. John Academy in McLean, Va.
He is a 2000 graduate of Catholic Central High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in marketing and a master's degree from Fransican University of Steubenville, and a master's degree in pastoral theology from the Augustine Institute. He is the youth minister at St. Mary of Sorrows in Fairfax, Va.
