MARTIN, Frank Jason "Dude", of Empire, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012, as a result of a vehicle accident in Coshocton, Ohio.
He was born Feb. 21, 1973, in Steubenville, Ohio.
Frank was a 1991 graduate of the Edison North High School and was president and coach for the Empire Baseball League.
He was a carpenter for the Carpenters Union Local 186 of Steubenville, Ohio.
Frank was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Marie Martin, and great-grandparents, William and Helene Elliott
He is survived by his companion, Daria Jane Clark of the home; parents, Frank Robert Martin and Iris Ann Skinner Martin of Empire, Ohio; children, Lane Jason Martin, Brady Tyler Martin, Elliott Cooper Martin and Lilly Noelle Martin; step-children, David, Emily, Mason and Corbin Clark; brother, Brad R. (Courtney) Martin of Empire, Ohio; paternal grandparents, Clarence B. and Doris Martin of Stratton, Ohio; maternal grand parents, Junior and Mary Skinner of Wellsville, Ohio and Wendell and Susan Reese of Empire, Ohio; nephews, Sterling Smith, Zach Watkins, Michael Watkins; nieces, Morgan Ann Martin, Erin Watkins and Ava Watkins.
Friends and family will gather for visitation 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. Saturday, May 5 at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto. (740) 537-1234 or (800) 588-1446.
Services for Frank will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, May 6, at the funeral home with Lay Minister John Keenan officiating. Burial will take place at the Sugar Grove Union Cemetery, County Road 68, Toronto, near Empire, Ohio.
