SMITHFIELD - Manuel and Carol Dalrymple Garcia celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday.
They were married on May 12, 1962, in Monroe, Mich.
They are the parents of a daughter, Michelle Miller, and a son, Manuel. There is one granddaughter.

She retired from Buckeye Local School District.
A family celebration is planned in the future.
