BRUCE. Evelyn R. Cooper, 89, of Columbus, Ohio, a former resident of Tallmadge, Ohio, and East Liverpool, Ohio, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2012.
Evelyn is a Methodist; was an East Liverpool High School graduate and was a member of the East Liverpool High School Alumni Association.
She retired after 26 years as a telephone operator.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde Bruce in 1979; brothers, Eber D. Cooper Jr. and William Cooper; sisters, Alberta Goodman and Thelma Clarke.
Her survivors include nephews, Don (Cheryl) Clarke of Toronto, Ohio, and David Clarke of St. Clairsville, Ohio, and several other nieces, nephews; great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
There will be a service for Evelyn at the Riverview Cemetery Chapel, East Liverpool, Ohio, 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 16.
Burial to follow at the cemetery.
