WEIRTON - Mr. and Mrs. John Lyonett of Weirton announce the engagement of their son, Eric John, to Mandi Diehl Sarver, daughter of Sherri Sarver of Short Gap, W.Va.
The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Frankfort High School. She also is a 2008 graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor's degree in biology, with a master's degree in secondary education. She is employed as a seventh-grade science teacher at Musselman Middle School in Martinsburg. This fall she plans to work in the Roanoke City School District.
Her fiance is a 2002 graduate of Brooke High School and a 2007 graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor's degree in industrial management and systems engineering. He is a plant supervisor for Altec Industries in Roanoke, Va.
