She formerly taught Sunday School at the First United Methodist Church in Weirton for 14 years.

She was member of the Three Score Seniors Club, and enjoyed meeting her high school classmates for lunch once a month. Most of her time, though, was centered around her grandchildren, whom she loved and cherished. She was often found cheering them on at all of their sporting events.

Gladys also enjoyed traveling to Florida and visiting her son Tom and his family.

Survivors include her son, Thomas A. Corso and his wife Cynthia of Ormond Beach, Fla.; her daughter, Cindy Wypasek and her husband Mark of Weirton; four loving grandchildren, Jacob, Zakery, Isabella and Francesco; and two sisters, Marjorie Lloyd, and Kathryn Kreider.

Friends will be received 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton, where funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday. Pastor Chuck Jerman will preside.
