STOCK, Charles W. "Bessie," 62, of Steubenville, Ohio, formerly of Empire, Ohio, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the Lancia Villa Royale Nursing Home, Steubenville, Ohio.
He was born January 22, 1950 in Steubenville, Ohio, the son of the late Joseph A. and Ella Geraldine Little Stock.
Charles was a member of the Empire United Methodist Church, Empire, Ohio, and was a graduate of the Stanton Local High School.
He is retired from the former Henry Sheets Trucking Co., Domino's Pizza, A&S Salvage and Reese Homes of Empire, Ohio.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Thomas K. "Plumber" Stock and William D. "Rock" Stock; nephew Daniel Aaron Stock; niece Juanita Rebecca Wells.
His survivors are his daughter, Belinda Stock and fiance Mike Johnson of Toronto, Ohio; sons Jason G. Palomino of Steubenville, Ohio and Troy A. Palomino Van Dyke of Empire, Ohio; brothers Joseph F. (Ruby) Stock of Wellsville, Ohio and Edward Stock of Toronto, Ohio; sisters Myrtle M. (Marshall) Patterson of Olcott, N.Y., and Wilhemina L. (Nelson) Wells of Warren, Ohio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will gather for visitation 2-4 and 6-8 Sunday, May 20 at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto. 740-537-1234 or 1-855- 847-1240. There will be additional visitation from 9-11 a.m. Monday, May 21 followed by a celebration service of Charles' life at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Belinda's uncle Mr. Rick Prosser officiating. Burial will follow at the Sugar Grove Union Cemetery, County Road 68 near Empire, Ohio.
