SMITH, Betty Jane Robb, 82, of Wellsville, passed away on Wednesday May 30, 2012, at the Stone Pear Pavilion at Fox Crest, where she had been a patient since April.
A daughter of the late Clarence W. and Mary Elizabeth Lohr Robb, she was born on February 10, 1930, in New Cumberland, WV.
Betty worked as a home health care provider for 25 years and attended the New Manchester Christian Church.
A 1948 graduate of the New Cumberland High School, she also belonged to the women's auxiliary of VFW Post 66 in East Liverpool.
Betty leaves her loving family which includes her son Tom Rector and his wife Paula and their children Evan and Michael of Pittsburgh; one daughter, Terri Taylor and her husband Ron of East Liverpool; one brother, Bill Robb and his wife Lois of New Manchester; and one sister, Dorothy Patrick of Weirton; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Family friend, Minister Tom Arehart will conduct services on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester where the family will be present to receive friends the same day Saturday June 2, from 2-4 and 6-7:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Betty's name to the Stone Pear Pavilion at Fox Crest at Fox Lane, Chester, WV 26034.
