NEW PHILADELPHIA - Steubenville Post 33 ended its four-game losing streak by sweeping a doubleheader from host Tusky County, 5-3 and 5-2.
JoJo Pierro and Justin Corsi went the distance to pick up the wins during the twinbill.
Alex Young delivered three singles and Brenton Colabella a pair of singles and two RBIs in the first game. Aleks Porreca followed with two singles and an RBI and Pierro had an RBI.
Pierro collected a double and an RBI in the second win. Colabella, John Linn and Kai McClurg each added a single and RBI.
Steubenville host Weirton Post 10 in a 1 p.m. doubleheader today.
