Steubenville Big Red graduate and University of Pittsburgh's Josh Thompson has qualified to compete in the IAAF World Junior Championships in Barcelona, Spain July 10-15. Thompson finished second in the 110 hurdles in 13.59, a personal best, at the USA Track and Field Junior Championships Friday at Indiana University. Thompson had qualified for the NCAA Division I Track and Field Championships two weeks ago at Drake University, where he ran a 14.12 in the prelims.
