CURTIS, Doris "Dee Dee", 64, of Weirton, WV., Tuesday, July 31, 2012, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Born September 22, 1947, in Glendale, WV; a daughter of the late Theodore and Virginia Chipps Cunningham.
She was a member of the Colliers Nazarene Church.
Also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Curtis; a brother, Robert L. Cunningham; two sisters, Katherine Schockow and Lois Cunningham.
Surviving are a daughter, Sunny Dawn "S.O." Curtis of Weirton; a brother, Emmett (Ruth) Cunningham of W.Va.; three sisters, Mona Hillis and Sunny Jo (Dave) White and Patty Cunningham all of Weirton; a sister-in-law, Marian Cunningham of Toronto; many nieces and nephews; and by a canine companion 'Susie"
Visitation will be held Sunday, August 5, 2012, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the Nixon Funeral Home in New Cumberland, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 6, 2012. Pastor Russell Buchanan will officiate. Burial will follow at Paris Cemetery. Paris, Pa.
