HARRIS, Virginia E., 90, of Weirton, WV, passed away Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, at St. John Lutheran Life Center, Mars, PA.
She was born Aug. 22, 1921, in Weirton, WV, the daughter of the late Woodson and Della McFarland Anderson.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, David Milton Harris, on Dec. 22, 1983; sons Gregg Harris and Brian R. Harris; and a niece, Judy Harris Testaguzza.
Virginia was a member of Cove Presbyterian Church and the auxilliary at Weirton Medical Center, where she was a longtime volunteer.
Surviving are her daughter; Susan Harris of Pittsburgh, PA; sons David W. Harris of Pittsburgh, PA, Marc Harris (Linda) of Weirton, WV, Bruce Harris (Marjie) of Weirton, WV, and Dean Harris (Lisa) of Weirton, WV; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home Inc., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV, on Saturday 3-8 p.m., where funeral services will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. with Dr. J.E. Rudiger presiding. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
