FULLEN, Kathleen A., 87, of Steubenville, died Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, at Valley Hospice.
She was born May 29, 1925, in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late George and Eleanor Mulrooney Curfman.
Kathleen is also preceded in death by her husband; James F. Fullen, one brother, George Curfman, one sister, Dora Jean Curfman and a granddaughter, Shannon Fullen.
Kathleen was a retired nurse from the former St. John Medical Center, 8th floor, and was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church where she taught CCD classes for many years, was a member of the CWC and St. Francis Society. Kathleen was also a member of the Mt. Carmel School of Nursing Alumni Association and a graduate of Catholic Central High School.
Surviving are one son, James J. Fullen of Steubenville; two daughters, Colleen (Jim) DellaPenna of New Alexandria and Brigid Kramer of Wintersville; six grandchildren, Sheena Fullen, James R. Fullen, Amanda, Alicia and Zachary DellaPenna and Kaitlin Kramer.
Calling hours are Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel.
A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at St. Peter Catholic Church, Fr. Jonas Shell, celebrant.
Burial in Mt.Calvary Cemetery. There will be a vigil service at 7:45 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter Catholic Church or to Valley Hospice.
