MYERS, Barbara Fay Merritt, 73, of Ward Drive, Wintersville, passed away on Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, at Valley Hospice Care Center North at Trinity East in Steubenville following a lengthy illness.
A daughter of the late John C. and Lina Mae Coulter Merritt, she was born on Oct. 5, 1938, in Alikana, OH.
A homemaker, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Donald Myers, three brothers, John Chester Merritt Jr.; Donald Edward (Red) Merritt, and David Allen Merritt, two daughters, Debbie May Myers, and Donna Jean Myers Reed, and one grandson, Clay Arden Reed Jr.
Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Ann Krynicki of Chester, WV; and Sherry Myers of Wintersville, four grandchildren, Donald Lawrence Reed and Francis Ray Tingler both of East Liverpool, Maranda Fay Tingler of Chester, and Clarrissa Lynn Myers of Wintersville, and a great- grandchild, Javen Andrew Tingler of Chester.
No services are planned at this time and the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester is assisting the family with these arraignments.
