TROIA, Rita (Tarantelli), 88, formerly of Steubenville, OH., passed away June 13, 2012, in a nursing home in Bugnara, Italy.
She was born April 10, 1924, in Bagnaturo di Sulmona, Province of Aquila, Italy.
Surviving are son, Loreto (Maria) Troia; daughter, Anna Fausta (Maurizio) Santacroce; six grandchildren, Armando (Rosalinda), Carlo and Rita Troia and Luciana (John) Frank, Sonia and Karina Santacroce; and six great- grandchildren, Victoria and Michael Troia and Joseph, Nicholas, Maria and David Frank; two sisters Albina Ventresca and Francesca (Celeste) Tirino; sister-in-law Ezia (Eugene) Romano and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at Triumph of the Cross, (Holy Rosary Church) Steubenville.
