SLIDAY, John Joseph, 59 of Colliers, WV passed away Aug. 27, 2012, in Trinity West Hospital, Steubenville, OH.
He was born Jan. 26, 1952, in Wheeling, WV, to the late John and Tillie Chernenko Sliday.
He was retired from Weirton Steel Corp. in the Refrigeration Dept. He was Russian Orthodox by faith, long time member of the Colliers sportsman club, Osiris Shriner/Wheeling, Bethany Masonic Lodge 69 AF&AM, Scottish Rite/Northern Panhandle Shriners.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his sister, Mary Sliday.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah "Debby" K. Rangos Sliday, a son, John D. Sliday and his companion Christina Baumgartner, a daughter, Summer Marie Sliday all of Colliers, WV.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles St. Wellsburg, WV with Pastor Joy Leasure officiating.
Family suggests memorial contributions be made to Brooke County Relay for Life American Cancer Society 122 South High Street Morgantown WV. 26501.
