RAY, Sara Ford, born Sept. 19, 1923, in Richmond, OH., was called home by the Lord on Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, in Newport Beach, California at the age of 88.
She delighted in gardening and sewing and was an active member of the Trinity United Presbyterian Church.
She was the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Ford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren Wayne Ray, her son, Robert and daughter, Carol and her three siblings, Evelyn Stanley, Lawrence Ford and Hester Chandler. She is survived by her children, Curtis (Micaela) of La Vernia, Texas, Paul (Carolyn) of Zephyrhills, Florida, Fred of Louisville, Kentucky, Dale (Judy) of Rockledge, Florida, son-in-law, Tom Rock, Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Gail (Paul) of Port Ludlow, Washington, Steve (Laurie) of Greenville, South Carolina, Randy of Huntington Beach, California, Roselyn of San Antonio, Texas, and Dann (Susan) of Haymarket, Virginia. She has 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, August 31, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz, OH. The funeral services will be Saturday, Sept. 1, 11 a.m. at Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Bergholz with Reverend Alan Jeffries officiating.
Interment to follow at Richmond Union Cemetery Richmond, OH.
