The Herald-Star

TORONTO - The city beautification committee once again will host the city residential Christmas lighting contest.

The contest is open to all residences within the Toronto City School District. Judging will be performed by out-of-town judges the evening of Dec. 16. All participating residences are asked to keep their lights on that evening.

The contest is open only to those who fill out an application form. Forms can be obtained in the Toronto post office, the city Municipal Building and the Toronto High School alumni office. The deadline to return an application is Dec. 15.

There are no cash prizes, but winners will be profiled in a future issue of the Herald-Star. The TBC uses all funds obtained for city beautification projects. For information, call (740) 537-1250.
