STEUBENVILLE - Molina Healthcare, a managed health company providing care to individuals and families who qualify for government-sponsored health programs, recently donated $1,000 to the Urban Mission to assist income-eligible families in purchasing food for holiday meals.

"We are overwhelmed by the support we've received from Molina Healthcare this holiday season," said the Rev. Ashley Steele, executive director of the Urban Mission. "Like the Urban Mission, Molina Healthcare cares for the needs of the most vulnerable in our community. We appreciate their support and are thankful for their presence in our community."

Amy Schultz Clubbs, president of Molina Healthcare of Ohio, said Urban Mission "does wonderful work and we are proud to help support the families it serves."

The donation to Urban Mission is one of 10 micro-grants that Molina Healthcare of Ohio donated to central and southern Ohio nonprofit organizations serving the community.
