Police investigating double shooting

STEUBENVILLE -City Police detectives are continuing an investigation into the shooting of two men around 1:40 p.m. Saturday at the Steubenville Marina.

Police reported three men were sitting in a vehicle at the far end of the marina when another vehicle pulled up. Police reported two men got out of the other vehicle and began firing shots. Officers reported the first vehicle was struck by bullets in the door and windshield.

Derrick Arsenio Hall, 22, and Lanal Buford, 20, both of Chicago, were wounded by the gunshots. One of the victims was flown by medical helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital. The second victim was treated at Trinity Medical Center West. It wasn't clear which victim was flown to Pittsburgh.

Police Chief William McCafferty said the men who were shot at said they didn't know why they were targeted.
