To the editor:
What a claim to fame - a spot on the national news.
Unfortunately, all that this close-knit community had was the mill and the football team.
Now nothing is left.
I could go on and on, but that would lead into a bitter discussion about why I decided to leave my birth city at age of 17 years plus three days. I could not see myself spending the rest of my life in a sad depressed city.
Life does go on outside of the Ohio Valley.
