Tammy West, Refuse to Be a Victim program-certified instructor, spoke at a recent Weirton Kiwanis meeting about the importance of being aware of the environment at all times.
She will give a Prevention Awareness class at 11 a.m. Feb. 2 at the Mary H. Weir Library.
The class is free and open to the public.
