WEIRTON - The Weir High School theater department will present a production of "Arsenic and Old Lace" this week.
The three-act play, written by Joseph Kesselrig, will begin with a performance at the Milton Weinberg Theater at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Additional performances will take place at 6:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
Admission is $5 per person at the door.
The story follows the Brewster sisters who help older gentlemen to a peaceful and comfortable "rest."
The cast includes Emily Little as Abby Brewster; Jakob Hartley as the Rev. Dr. Harper and Mr. Gibbs; Dustin Bailey as Teddy Brewster; Abigail Peters as Officer Brophy; Kiara Cimperman as Officer Klein and Mr. Hoskins; Kvanna Diaz as Martha Brewster; Caelen Crowley and Ella Jennings as Elaine Harper; Nicholas Campbell as Mortimer Brewster; Nicholas Vandruff as Jonathan Brewster; Conner McCoy as Dr. Herman Einstein; Lanisha Anderson as Officer O'Hara; Samantha Hayes as Lieutenant Rooney; and Mr. Spenalzo, and Abigail Crago as Mr. Witherspoon.
Peters also serves as the production's stage manager. The set design and play direction is by Ray Seifert, theater director.
