Red Hats enjoy special

programs at gatherings

The La Bonne Vie (the Good Life) Chapter of the Red Hat Society held a humorous rendition of "What Not To Wear" at its April meeting with each table creating a unique style using one-of-a-kind items for their "victim" of fashion disaster.

The winning table received prizes for dressing member Joyce Parrish "in a most unbelievable manner."

In May, the participants staged their own version of "Hoarding: Buried Alive." Members offered their "reasons" for hoarding. There were prizes for Best Hoarder, Best Reason for Hoarding and for a number of non-hoarders.

Newest women of the month are Jane Crownover and Parrish.

The next non-meeting is Thursday. There will be a special presentation by a member of Women in Action Against Cancer Coalition, arranged by coalition representatives Patricia Butler and Judy Manfred.

For information, call (740) 264-5079, or email, A prize is awarded to the first RSVP.
