STEUBENVILLE - Christina Marie DiCarlo of Steubenville and Mathew Scott Canestraro of Mingo Junction were united in marriage on May 4 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Steubenville with the Rev. Timothy Huffman officiating the 1 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Primo DiCarlo of Steubenville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Canestraro of Mingo Junction.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. She wore an ivory taffeta and tulle fit-to-full flair strapless gown with floral detail at draped skirt.

Kara Schultz was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Cara Copeland, Huan Dong, Chrysta Kijanka Dill, Marissa Dzomba, Stefanie Pate and Alexandra Castro.
Brandon Canestraro, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Matt Stoddard, Joseph Khoury, Dusty Contos, Primo DiCarlo, brother of the bride, Rich Marusic and Jake McElhaney.
A reception was held at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling. The couple honeymooned in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Catholic Central High School and a 2008 graduate of Washington and Jefferson College with a bachelor of arts degree in biology. In 2012, she received a doctorate of medicine degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and will begin her residency at Allegheny General Hospital in July.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Steubenville High School and a 2009 graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University with a bachelor of science degree in nuclear medicine technology. In 2012, he graduated from Cleveland State University with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. He is employed as a registered nurse at Allegheny General Hospital.
The couple reside in Coraopolis, Pa.
