On June 24, the Blackmoor Monday Night Ladies League played a low gross game with Lori Defallo the winner.

Brenda McClouskey had a long drive on hole No. 14. Neysa McCart had closest to the pin on hole No. 12 and also had a birdie on hole No. 12.

Low Putts went to Cheryl Black and Janis Whitaker.

All women are welcome to play on Monday evenings at 5 p.m. There are no membership fees.


Spring Hills Ladies Golf League played "Throw out the Even Holes" on the front 9 on June 27.

A flight winner was Claudia Norris with a 24.

B flight winner was Patty Gerlando who also shot a 24.

C flight winner Mary Alice Myers with a 28.

Long Drive A flight was Marge Alpino.

There was no one in fairway in B flight.

C flight winner was Eleanor Kindsvatter.

Closest to the pin was a A flight Jay Risnear.

B flight was Patty Gerlando.

The 50/50 winner was Ann Eroshevich.

Low putts for the night was Claudia Norris with 15 putts, and she also had a chip in.


Town and Country Women's Golf League had play day of low putts on July 2 at Spring hills Golf Course. Winners were:

Town and Country Women Golf League had a "Four Ladies Scramble" and month-end meeting on June 27 at Spring Hills Golf Course.

Winners were:

First place: Signa Findlay, Betty Teaff, Pat Zorne, Edie Higgins.

Second: Laura Froehlick, Rose Kazmarek, Margie Serafini, Dolores Parraglia.

Third: Lucy Karaan, Irene Vaja, Kathy Antinone, Sondra Hyde.

Long Drive No. 2: A, Findlay; B, Kazmarek; C, Vaja.

Long Drive No. 5, A, Froehlick; B, Kazmarek; C, Vaja.


The Williams Ladies Golf Association held a "Throw Out Par 5's Score" Tuesday paying out winners and runner-ups in each flight.

Maribeth Arlia took the first flight prize with a score of 54. Linda Staffilino was runner-up with a 54.

Second flight winner in first place was Sue Sakara with a 55. A tie score of 59 for runner-up was taken by Erikka Buracchio and Rita Kohn.

Third flight winner was Vi Stein with a score of 55 and Rita Wickham taking runner-up with a 60.

Skill prize was "Closest to the Pin on Hole No. 8," and the first flight players missed the target.

Second flight winner was Phyllis Phillips, and Stein took third flight.

Staffilino took the "Pot of Gold" with a chip-in on hole No. 10.

Assistant Pro Jason Smoljanovich figured and announced the winners of the day.

A luncheon followed in the newly decorated Grill Room.

This week will be the annual Williams Invitational in which the women's association will host Tri-State Area golfers with an "Out of This World " theme.

Breakfast and registration begin at 8 a.m. with a shotgun tee time at 9 a.m.
