Arrested: Brian K. Wilson, 24, Apartment 7, 627 N. Fifth St., fugitive from justice warrant out of Trumbull County, Monday.

Arrested: Eric J. Smith, 22, 416 N. Fourth St., contempt of court warrant out of Belmont County, Monday.

Theft: Cell phone taken from truck in the 500 block of Maxwell Avenue, Monday.

Theft: Residence in the 300 block of South Fifth Street entered and PlayStation taken, Monday.

Cited: Brian J. Benton, 30, 38 Mill St., Richmond, improper turn.

Arrested: Timothy W. Jones, 33, 4648 Bethany Pike, Wellsburg, expired registration, driving with suspended license and bench warrant out of municipal court, Monday.

Pit bull killed: Aggressive pit bull shot and killed by city police officer after the dog was chasing people on the campus of the Franciscan University of Steubenville around 8 p.m. Monday. A second pit bull was caught and detained for the city's animal control officer.

Theft: Cell phone taken from vehicle in the 700 block of North Fourth Street, Monday.

Arrested: Donald K. Brown Jr., 49, no fixed address, public intoxication, destruction of property and littering on a highway, Thursday.

Arrested: Mandy L. Riccadonna, 34, Lovers Lane, Follansbee, public intoxication, destruction of property and two counts of battery on an officer, Monday.

Arrested: Rebecca M. Brown-Gibb, 23, Bridgeport, Ohio, driving under the influence, Sunday.

Arrested: Leslie J. Jones, 36, 496 Shady Lane, Follansbee, public intoxication, Sunday.

Vehicle vandalism: A window of a vehicle at a residence on Aspen Avenue in Wellsburg was broken out with a rock early Wednesday.
