Margaret 'Margie' Henthorn

HENTHORN, Margaret Marie "Margie", 46, of Colliers, WV, went to be with God on Sunday, August 4, 2013, at Trinity Medical Center West.

She was born on October 3, 1966, in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late S. Delbert Henthorn who passed away on January 23, 2010 and Laura (Tredway) Henthorn with whom she resided.

Margie graduated from Brooke High School in 1986. For over 25 years she has participated at the Brooke County Opportunity Center.

She was a member of the Tower of Power Church in Steubenville, OH. She was a member of the Ladies of the Moose in Wellsburg, WV. Margie participated for many years with the Brooke County Special Olympics.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her brother, Marshall (Jennie) Henthorn, St. Albans, WV and her sister, Sara Parr, Colliers, WV, three nephews, Christian and Seth Parr, and Andy Henthorn, two great-nephews, Talan and Cameron Parr, several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

At Margie's request her teammates from the Brooke County Special Olympics and other family members will serve as her pallbearers.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 8 from 11 a.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. at the Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV with Pastors' Everett Mitchell, Sam Williams and Greg Lewis all officiating.

Entombment will follow in Highland Hills Memorial Gardens in Follansbee, WV.

The Women of the Moose will have services at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Brooke County Special Olympics at 1232 Charles St. Wellsburg, WV 26070.
