I believe it is just as safe as underground and surface coal mining. Ahhh Yesss the good old days of copper coloured creeks, yellow air down wind from the power plants, so rich and thick you could chew it! Remember those days when you would cruise the country roads and enjoy the views of the pastures and cattle grazing or rows and rows of corn reaching for the sun? Then the next summer you would drive the same route and all the picturesque views were changed to heaps of dirt and rock and bull-dozers replaced the cattle? Ooooopps! Look out for that coal truck!!!!! Sure, fracking is safe
